• Logging into your account

    • All students are given an Office 365 student account to use while studying any Te Rito Maioha programme/qualification.

      Students are also given access to the Student Landing Page, where they can access all areas of their study, the Office 365 suite and other helpful tools and programmes.

      • I can't remember my login details - what do I do?

        • Your login username will always be your student email address - it should look like this:

          • sXXXXXX@ecnz.ac.nz 

          When you logged in for the first time, you should have been required to change your password. If you can't remember your password, please email elearning.helpdesk@ecnz.ac.nz or call 0800 244 532.

      • I already have a Microsoft account - Can I just use that?

        • Your Office 365 student account is the main account you need to use for your studies at Te Rito Maioha, as it gives you access to other areas/platforms you need for study and gives you access to Office 365 software (Word, Powerpoint, OneNote, OneDrive, etc). You will not have the same access to your student areas if you use a different Office 365 account.

          You can have two different Office 365 accounts logged into the same device. If you are actively using both, you will need to be conscious of switching between the accounts as it may cause issues when accessing your student areas, which could result in error messages that say it's picking up the wrong account.

      • I've been locked out of my account - What do I do?

        • If you have been locked out of your Office 365 account, you need to contact the eLearning Helpdesk directly and ask them to unblock your account. Please include a screenshot of the error that has occurred.

      • How do I download the Microsoft Applications?

        • Go to the Student Landing Page and click on the app launcher (nine dot symbol) in the top left hand corner

          Once the app launcher opens, click on the Office link in the top right hand corner (this will open a new tab in your browser)

          On the new tab in your browser, click on Install Office in the top right hand corner

          Click on Office 365 apps (this will download all Office 365 software programmes directly to your computer)
